Berlin: The Jewish Museum

Designed by architect Daniel Libeskind, it opened in 2001 with great acclaim and controversy about its unorthodox approach to architecture and a memorial. Not coincidentally the architect was later chosen to design the master plan of the reconstructed World Trade Center in New York.

This film is part of the “10 BEST” series featuring ten unusual attractions in Berlin and a variety of other cities around the world. Hosted by Julia Grimpe, a TV and Film star in Germany.
